Why I built it

Built for SRSCARS LLC to support its public inventory, financing, appointments, customer inquiries, location information, and ongoing business operations.

Engineering challenge

Most dealership websites rely on generic templates with limited flexibility, inconsistent user experience, and little opportunity for customization. The goal of SRSCARS.com was to build a production platform tailored to the dealership’s workflow while remaining maintainable, accessible, and easy to extend over time.

Solution

Designed the application as a modular project with reusable components and consistent layouts. Inventory browsing, vehicle detail pages, financing workflows, appointment requests, bilingual content, and contact tools were developed as integrated parts of one maintainable platform. Cloudflare services handle DNS management, HTTPS, and production delivery.

Lessons learned

Building software for real users requires balancing performance, maintainability, accessibility, and business requirements.
Shipping features is only part of the work; long-term maintenance and operational reliability are equally important.

Continue extending the platform around verified dealership workflows while keeping shared components, accessibility, and production maintenance manageable.
